Job Purpose:

To perform packaging operations efficiently and in compliance with cGMP, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate packaging of pharmaceutical products, proper documentation, material accountability, and achievement of production targets while maintaining product quality and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform packaging line setup, clearance, cleaning, and changeover activities in compliance with cGMP, safety, and company procedures.
• Operate packaging lines according to approved SOPs to ensure product quality and achieve production targets.
• Complete all required packaging documentation, including batch records, logbooks, checklists, and line clearance forms accurately and in a timely manner.
• Verify packaging materials and components before use to ensure compliance with approved specifications and batch requirements.
• Monitor packaging operations and report any abnormalities, deviations, or equipment issues to the supervisor.
• Ensure reconciliation and accountability of packaging materials, labels, cartons, and finished products throughout the packaging process.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of packaging areas, equipment, and tools in accordance with GMP requirements.
• Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements while performing packaging activities.
• Support investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth packaging operations.

Qualifications:

• Diploma degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Pharmaceutical, Packaging Technology, or a related field.

Competencies and Experience:

• Intermediate, with the ability to read, write, and understand work-related documents, emails, and reports.
• 0-3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical packaging or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of cGMP requirements and pharmaceutical packaging processes is preferred.
